Photography and canvas printing from the heart

Photography is such an amazing science to us all. We use it in our day to day lives and sometimes even without realising it. We use photography to create our own impression of art through the medium of photographs, weather its by using a mobile phone or the top of the range camera and lenses which ever we decide to use we do it so we can capture those precious moments in life.

Once we take our photos it’s down to us to try and display them in the best way possible. Sometimes we opt for the normal wooden frame and glass option which is a very nice way to show off your photos but wouldn’t it be even better if you could turn your art in to artwork by using the medium of canvas printing to transform your photo into a canvas photo masterpiece. Not only does photography help us with capturing the images we want to keep but there’s also an art form in how you go about capturing that object or particular person or screen. If you use the lighting correctly and think that what your seeing will be printed on to a canvas print before you take that shot then you have a better chance of that finished canvas print looking totally amazing. Planning is key when it comes to producing that ultimate and stunning photograph and if you get the right moment on camera then you have the opportunity to display that image you love so dearly on a beautiful woven inkjet canvas which is hand crafted from start to finish. The canvas is then stretched over a beautiful looking and professional wooden stretcher bar frame for its finishing touch.

The beauty of being able to print your photos whether they are professional or simply a photo that you have taken with your disposable camera is just great and the other great thing about having your photos printed by a professional canvas printing business is that they really appreciate your photo and how they make their canvas prints and that simply gives you such an amazing end product for you to then hang up on your wall.

How To Organise Your Photography Business

Juggling the day to day running of a photography business can take time & efforts on your part. This is the work which no one likes, paperwork, invoices, etc. Important thing is not to replicate and duplicate things, this takes up more time than we realise and lost time equals losing money. Every business (photography or not) needs to have a system in place. Keeping track of your contacts, equipment, jobs, sales, purchases, marketing, diary & products and a lot more.

Many photographers use a spreadsheet to run their business. Spreadsheets are fine if you want to crunch numbers and perform automatic calculations, create charts, ‘what if’ scenarios or keep track of simple list of data. However, you will end up entering the same values of information into multiple spreadsheets. This is not time efficient and you need to update different files if you are tracking related information in several spreadsheets. When you use a spreadsheet, viewing the set of data is not easy and quite often requires lots of scrolling to view it!!

Alternative to spreadsheets is a database management system which will simplify your work and allow you more time to do whatever you want, whether being behind the camera or with your family! A database will help you manage all your day to day business tasks with ease, answer questions and solve problems, link related data, view data in different ways and a lot lot more…

Jlhongm Baby Photography – Best Ages For Infant Portraits

A baby’s first year is an important time to start documenting their life with professional photography. Even though the parents may be snapping away, a portrait professional can capture the baby in unique, artistic ways and produce professional archival prints that will last for generations. Understanding the importance of the task, many parents wonder when are the best months in the first year for professional infant photography. The following are some guidelines that identify what can be expected at the different stages of the baby’s first year or so.

Newborn – The first 5 to 10 days is the best time for newborn baby photography. During this time they are less fussy and their skin will be more clear. Baby acne usually sets in around day 16 and lasts for a couple of weeks, so having the session done before this will work in your favor. Newborn sessions often involve naked baby’s laying on soft blankets or in the family’s arms. Whether the baby is awake or asleep, these pictures should not be missed as they are an incredible way to begin documenting a person’s life.

2 to 3 months – This time is still considered newborn, but the babies are often much harder to work with at this age as they tend to be very fussy. They will have better head control than in the first month, and they usually can smile at this point, but do not count on getting a smiling portrait at this age. Most posing will involve the baby laying down on back or stomach, being propped up, and being held in arms.

Underwater Wedding Photography Ideas

Underwater wedding photography ideas sometimes cross the mind of the bride when looking over fantastic pictures online. The imagery is astounding and the brides look like underwater fairies that take nymphs to a higher level.

Achieving the same effects in a real wedding would be harder though and as a photographer it is best to put the realities of the shoot into their proper perspective before the bride and the groom makes a commitment and get the shock of their lives.

Simply going underwater with the P.A.D.I. certified pastor or photographer will not produce the nymph like pictures that could be seen in the samples. The reality of blurry pictures and untidy looks is all too real with underwater weddings.
